Built by asymmetric coupling technique, Triplex Window Coupler operating bandwidth is expanding to 1310nm, 1490nm and 1550nm three communication windows. The TWC coupler has the same coupling ratio on 1310, 1490 and 1550nm communication windows, with low excess loss and low PDL. TWC is widely used for communication systems, CATV,FTTH,where multiple optical signals pass through single fiber. The products are Telcordia GR-1221/1209-CORE qualified, and RoHS compliant.

Fiber fused couplers, or splitters, are special optical fiber devices with one or more input fibers for distributing optical signals into two or more output fibers. Optical energy is passively split into multiple output signals (fibers), each containing light with properties identical to the original except for reduced amplitude. Fiber fused couplers have input and output configurations defined as M x N. M is the number of input ports (one or more). N is the number of output ports and is always equal to or greater than M. When there are multiple inputs, output signals are always a combination of the input signals ‐ a coupler can also be considered a combiner.

Fiber optic couplers or splitters are available in a range of styles and sizes to split or combine light with minimal loss. All couplers are manufactured using a proprietary process that produces reliable, low-cost devices. They are rugged and impervious to common high operating temperatures. Couplers can be fabricated with custom fiber lengths and/or with terminations of any type.
