Polarization Insensitive Optical Circulator

A polarization insensitive optical circulator is a device used in fiber optic systems. Its job is to move light from one point to another in only one direction across multiple ports. What makes it “polarization insensitive” is that it doesn’t care about the direction in which the light waves are vibrating (which is called polarization).
